Puelches ITA/ENG
Stiamo attraversando la Pampa dove tutto e” infuocato e bellissimo.
I campi si perdono nell”immensita” e il tempo si ferma insieme al sole sopra di noi. La pelle frigge sopra l”asfalto che ondeggia e solo gli immensi alberi ci danno conforto ogni tanto….sia a noi che al motore del Generale che come sempre se la cava alla grande!
Le persone sono troppo forti e di una gentilezza disarmante.
Ieri per la vigilia volevamo accamparci in una piccola sierra in mezzo al nulla, ma appena arrivati in 2 secondi il cielo e” diventato nero e ruggente. Tutti dicono che qui non piove mai o quasi , ma il cielo mi dice di non fidarmi. Facciamo altri 35 km e arriviamo a Puelches un piccolo pueblo fuori di testa. gli abitanti ci vengono subito incontro per farci qualche domanda….. e riempire di complimenti il Generale. Prendiamo una camera in questo hotel che sembra piu” un motel, il ragazzo e la ragazza che ci lavorano ci preparano anche gnocchi ai 4 formaggi accompagnati da un vino Argentino buonissimo, solo che dopo il primo bicchiere siamo gia” ubriachi, ma va giu” che e” un piacere. Non mi intendo di vini, ma questo fa veramente paura… Il tramonto e” spettacolare e spero che le foto rendano almeno in parte questo spettacolo.
Comunque fortuna che non ci siamo accampati perche” questa notte si e” scatenato l”inferno, tuoni e fulmini e la pioggia viaggiava in orizzontale!
Ancora Buon Natale dalla pampa infuocata……
Ora ripartiamo , dobbiamo fare qualche centinaio di km prima del prossimo pueblo.

only the huge trees give us some comfort from time to time… both to us and to the engine of the General that’s doing great as always! People are really cool and disarmingly kind. Yesterday on Christmas Eve we wanted to camp out in a small sierra in the middle of nothing, but as soon as we arrived in 2 seconds the sky became black and roaring. Everyone says that here it hardly ever rains, but the sky tells me not to trust. We drive 35 kilometers and we arrive in Puelches, a small far-out pueblo. The residents come immediately near us to make some questions… and fill the General with compliments. We take a room into an hotel which looks more like a motel, the boy and the girl who work there cook for us four cheeses gnocchi accompanied by a very good Argentinian wine, but after the first glass we’re already drunk, but it goes down so well. I’m not a wine expert, but this one is really terrific… The sunset is spectacular and I hope the pictures will convey at least in part its beauty. Anyway luckily we didn’t camp out as last night hell broke loose, with thunders, lightning and rain falling horizontally! Again a Merry Christmas from the scorching Pampas… Now we’re leaving again, we’ve to drive few hundred kilometers before the next pueblo. A flashing and see you soon!
